ITINERARY

Upon your arrival in Santiago, you are welcomed by our Tour Conductor (TC), who will ensure
support and coordination of the trip from start to finish.
The transfer between the airport and the hotel is done by shared taxi (1 taxi for 3 people), a simple
and efficient solution to optimize overall costs without compromising comfort.
Hotel check-in and free time depending on arrival time.
Overnight at Río Amazonas Hotel or similar.
After breakfast, transfer to Santiago airport by shared taxi.
You then take your flight to Punta Arenas (not included), gateway to Chilean Patagonia.
We assist you in finding the best flight options. Tickets purchased from Europe are often more advantageous.
Upon arrival, transfer by shared taxi to the hotel. Free time to explore the city, Muñoz Gamero Square or the waterfront facing the Strait of Magellan.
Overnight at Innata Hotel or similar.

Early departure by public bus for a long but very beautiful day of travel through southern Patagonia.
The itinerary includes crossing the mythical Strait of Magellan, a historic maritime passage linking the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, symbolically marking entry into Tierra del Fuego.
After the border crossing, the journey continues through endless landscapes of steppes, open plains, and wild horizons, until arrival in the evening in Ushuaia, considered the southernmost city in the world.
Upon arrival, transfer by shared taxi to the hotel.
Overnight at Tango Hotel or similar.

Day dedicated to Ushuaia’s iconic landscapes.
In the morning, excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, with its subantarctic forests, rivers, and the mythical Lapataia Bay, the final point of the Pan-American Highway.
During the day, navigation on the Beagle Channel, allowing observation of islets, seabirds, and sea lions.
Park entrance paid on site in order to benefit from a better exchange rate.
Return to Ushuaia and free evening.

Easy walk – elevation gain: +50 to +150 m
Transfer by shared taxi to the airport and flight Ushuaia – El Calafate (not included).
Upon arrival, continue by public bus to El Chaltén (approximately 3 hours), across the Patagonian steppe to the first foothills of the Fitz Roy massif.
Check-in at the accommodation.
In El Chaltén, the accommodation is mountain-style:
• multi-bed rooms,
• shared bathrooms,
• simple, friendly atmosphere perfectly suited for a hiking stay.
At the end of the day, short acclimatization walk to viewpoints near the village or free time to rest.
Overnight at Los Ñires accommodation or similar.

Hikes are done independently, at your own pace, with briefing, orientation, maps, and continuous assistance from the TC. The trails are very well marked.
EASY option – Fitz Roy viewpoints
• Gradual hike to panoramic viewpoints
• Ideal for a relaxed discovery

• Elevation gain: +200 to +300 m
DIFFICULT option – Laguna de los Tres
• Iconic hike at the foot of Fitz Roy
• Final section steeper but spectacular
• ⏱ Duration: 7 to 9 hours round trip
• Elevation gain: +700 m
Free return to the village and evening at rest.

Free day allowing everyone to choose the activity best suited to their level and preferences.
Active option – Cerro Torre Trek
Hike to Laguna Torre, facing the impressive Cerro Torre.

Elevation gain: +250 to +350 m
Easy option – Village discovery
Free time to:
• visit El Chaltén village,
• discover the Los Glaciares National Park interpretation center,
• enjoy cafés, bookstores, and nearby viewpoints.
At the end of the day, transfer/logistics to El Calafate.
Overnight at Calafate Hostel or similar.
Full day dedicated to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most impressive natural sites in Patagonia.
After the journey to the park, you will have several hours on the walkways, allowing you to observe the glacier from different angles and at various distances.
Perito Moreno is famous for its spectacular ice calving, offering a true natural show.

• optional navigation in front of the glacier (subject to availability).

Return to El Calafate in the late afternoon.

Easy walk
Day of immersion in authentic rural Patagonia, away from the classic tourist routes.
Departure to Estancia Nibepo Aike, located in the heart of a vast natural area offering superb views of the Patagonian mountains and Lake Argentino.
On site, discover daily life in a traditional estancia:
a friendly atmosphere, interactions with locals, and a traditional Patagonian lunch included, prepared with local products.
Depending on the group’s pace, light walking in the surroundings of the estancia or moments of relaxation to fully enjoy the natural setting.
Return to El Calafate in the evening.
Overnight at Calafate Hostel.
⏱ Excursion: 6 to 7 hours
Light walk – low elevation gain
Departure by public bus toward Chile for a transition day through the vast landscapes of southern Patagonia.
The journey crosses the Patagonian steppe, dotted with wide open spaces, lakes, and endless horizons, with a border crossing between Argentina and Chile along the way.
Arrival in Puerto Natales in mid or late afternoon, a small port town located on the Última Esperanza fjord, gateway to Torres del Paine National Park.
Hotel check-in and free time to relax, stroll along the fjord, explore the town center, or calmly prepare your backpack for the hikes of the following days in the park.
Overnight at Hotel Glaciares or similar.
⏱ Bus: approximately 5 hours (depending on border formalities)
Early departure for a shared excursion (pool service) with transport and an English-speaking guide.
First full discovery of Torres del Paine National Park:
• Milodon Cave,
• Grey Lake,
• Salto Grande,
• panoramic viewpoints.
Park entrance paid on site.
At the end of the day, check-in at Refugio Central, located in the heart of the park.
Mountain refuge accommodation:
• multi-bed rooms (dormitories),
• shared bathrooms,
• simple and authentic atmosphere.
Dinner and overnight in the refuge – half board included.

Free day of hiking in the park, with advice and assistance from the TC.

Recommendations for the visitor
- Spending the night with minimal comfort elements can be a small adventure; however, the human warmth of the inhabitants easily compensates for the lack of comfort to which we are accustomed in urban areas
